Dr. Joseph Terranova was born in Brooklyn, New York. He moved to Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, at the age of 11, where he stayed until moving to Marietta, Georgia, to pursue his Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Terranova is the co-owner/founder of the Injury Health Center. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Excelsior College in New York. Dr. Terranova earned his doctorate degree from Life University in Marietta, Georgia, in 1999. Early on in his life, Dr. Terranova had the burning desire to help people, but did not believe in traditional medicine.
Several of Dr. Terranova’s relatives are chiropractors, and they had a big influence on his decision to become one. He had witnessed the healing power of Chiropractic and knew immediately that he wanted to become one. Dr.Terranova has extensive knowledge of neurology and nutrition. He is well-versed in many chiropractic techniques, including Diversified, Activator, Thompson, and S.O.T. Dr. Terranova has also helped many of his patients achieve their weight loss goals.
Today, after many years in practice, Dr. Terranova continues to read, take seminars and pursue postgraduate clinical excellence by keeping up with all information that might be helpful to his patients. Dr. Terranova has been married to his wife, Jennifer, for 19 years. They have a 12-year-old daughter named Lauren. During his spare time, Dr. Terranova likes exercising, going to the beach, playing softball, and playing his guitar as often as he can.
